"Winter wonderland vibes only! Spent an epic weekend at this cozy Vrbo house and it did NOT disappoint! Kids will LOVE the snow play - we built an epic snowman ! The house was perfect for cooking up some warm comfort food . And after hours of tubing, nothing beats unwinding in the hot tub . Highly recommend for a fun, relaxing winter getaway! "

"Great place to stay. I'm not into fancy or boujee hotels, so when i give this place 5 stars, i'm not talking about a $1000 a night gold plated Hilton hotel room. I'm going to be using the room to sleep in, and chill after a day of adventuring. This hotel checks all the boxes for that. Good location right off the 80 in west Truckee. Easy parking. Comfy beds. Mini fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast with muffins, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches or burritos. Some fruit, coffee, cocoa. Staff is cool af. There are some good food options in walking distance. Safeway, old Truckee, and such are a few minute drive. For what i'm after, this is a great hotel. "

"The location was good and the backyard was great for snow play. But there were a ton of issues with the house that negatively impacted our stay.- the internet rarely worked which was super frustrating since the TVs were streaming Rokus. One person had to work and couldn’t. Had to leave and go to a coffee shop.- bare bones supplies. Chipped dishes, no lighter for the fireplace, and minimal glasses. There were 3 wine glasses, one of which was cracked. Not many glasses or mugs. One dishwashing pod only for a 4 night stay. Living room lamp didn’t work.- most times driveway snow plowing is included. It’s not here. Take note. We asked and the response was curt : we provide you with one shovel. It was a flimsy plastic shovel that was about to break. "

"We were welcomed by a beautiful gift basket. Greg left his phone number so we could quickly contact him with any issues. The downstairs pool table was such a treat. It automatically divided the house into a fun zone and relaxation zone."
