I enjoy the electricity and stove in the cabin, but I also like the shared bathrooms and group campfire that give it a camp feel. I felt very safe as a solo traveler, and I had a good time trying out one of the kayaks that are available for guests."

"We took a trip to this location late May and the property was beautiful and my kids got to go WILD!!!! My only complaint is that with all the rain there were a lot of mosquitoes. This was a perfect trip since we were balling on a budget!! There was a lot more to do then expected!!"

"This cabin is so cute and cozy! Oh how I wish I could stay longer!! Would happily live in this cabin forever lol. Amenities are great, you have everything you'd want or need in there. The bathroom/shower was so nice and warm with a built in heater, hot water, and high pressure. Fireplace is great if you know what you're doing and it was just cool enough for us to enjoy. Jeff and his dog are a hoot :) thanks for having us!"

"My 2 teen age grandsons (14 & 17) made our 2nd annual grouse hunting trip to Northern MN. Despite rainy conditions, they had a great time, bringing 8 ruffed grouse back to Blaine, MN to share with family! Yum! Cabin was just as listed in VRBO—older but clean, comfortable beds, nice appliances. Owners pleasant and helpful. Thank you!"

"The communication prior to arrival was awesome and Jay helped us with our reservations even. The resort had everything we needed and was perfect for our young girls to explore. They played in the sand, went fishing, and played with other kids that were staying in the cabins. Definitely planning to be back!"

"Had a wonderful annual holiday with friends. If we weren’t hoping to add another couple next year we would book same again but we need a second shower with more people. The house is spacious and homey and kitchen had everything we needed to cook fish all week. Docks are well maintained and porch and fire pit area were well- enjoyed. We even took the kayak and paddle board for a spin. It was really hard to leave!"

"We felt like we are living in the middle of a lush and beautiful forest.We loved canoeing in the lake and bay, and we’re delighted to see and hear Trumpeter Swans, loons, beavers, and barred owls. The cabin was cozy and we appreciated the full kitchen. Gary was accommodating in every way."

"The cabin is situated with no other cabins in view. Beautifully decorated Minnesota Cabin thats extremely functional. The boat was perfect for this lake even with high winds you can easily get around. The wildlife on the island made the trip. We cant wait to come back."
