"We took a trip to this location late May and the property was beautiful and my kids got to go WILD!!!! My only complaint is that with all the rain there were a lot of mosquitoes. This was a perfect trip since we were balling on a budget!! There was a lot more to do then expected!!"

"My 2 teen age grandsons (14 & 17) made our 2nd annual grouse hunting trip to Northern MN. Despite rainy conditions, they had a great time, bringing 8 ruffed grouse back to Blaine, MN to share with family! Yum! Cabin was just as listed in VRBO—older but clean, comfortable beds, nice appliances. Owners pleasant and helpful. Thank you!"

"This is a nice place to stay on the lake, you must be able to walk up and down stairs. Two bathrooms would be great but we made by with the one. The water is excellent! Hot,clean,no smells at all!! The beds are comfortable and clean. The front and back yard needed spring cleaning and our group of guys would be glad to clean up the property outside for 2 nights stay next spring. Contact me if interested, you wont be disappointed."

"My husband and I came up to Minnesota to go birding at Sax Zim Bog, and we found this great cottage. It was the perfect place! It was very close to Sax Zim Bog, and it was close to the gas station and Wilbert Cafe in town. It was a great size, newly designed, nice appliances to cook our own meals, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with a large shower. The owner really thought of everything when it comes to small details as well like extra supplies, smart tvs, starlink wifi that worked really...

"This was a great spot for a quick getaway. We loved the deck, the dock, and the views. It's on a lovely island that is easy to get to but still feels far away. The king-size bed is super comfortable. It was great to feel like you are in the wilderness but still have a nice bed!"

"What a beautiful space for a fall getaway. The cabin is spacious and clean - even better than it looks in the pictures. Plenty of comfortable furniture, open spaces made even more so by the numerous windows, and comfortable beds. There's no TV (in my mind, that's a bonus), but the wi-fi worked great and there are plenty of books and board games available. Outside, the lake is just a few steps away - the peace and serenity there were so inviting. I spent hours just sitting on the dock, enjoying...

"I have stayed at a number of cabins in the Virginia/Ely area; some good, some bad. This cabin was by far the nicest we have stayed at in a very long time. The cabin was bright and new, and beyond clean. To my surprise the cabin was well stocked with anything you might need, plus a washer and dryer. Highly recommend this cabin."
