"This is a terrific, versatile, and historical place. I stayed in one of the original buildings, with wood floors and thin walls. The room was looking out over the front of the property and the street beyond. The room was understandably small, seeing the origins, and the price was pleasantly suitable to the size despite the sense of history in it and the areas of the business immediately around it. The food onsite was very good, as was the service on all counts, restaurant or complementary...

"All was good except that the room above us decided to do a 5k in their room starting at 05:00 AM. This wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but was their fault was the condition of the floors. Beyond the stomping, the floors creaked! We arrived late at night needing sleep before a long day of driving. We got almost none because of the noise."
