My stay was disappointing to say the least. Firstly, they checked me in, and when I got to the room, there was already people in it. They then upgraded me to a room with a badly strained carpet, paper peeling off the walls and signs of dampness. The property externally was in serious need of maintenance, paint was peeling, gutters were full of weeds. However, the bed was comfy and the food (fish & chips) was very good. However, a shower in the middle of a wall over a double sized jacuzzi bath was a very strange look. Sorry, but I don’t think I would stay here again.

Great little spot. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. They had a local jazz group playing on Friday night. Fun to listen to. Just 6 old timers singing. They had a large wedding on Saturday night and we were concerned we’d be disturbed by music and the guests enjoying themselves. We never heard a thing and slept peacefully on the very comfy king sized bed.
