I went there with my family for a vacation for 7days.
The house was great
The hot tub in the first day doesn’t was clean the water was in there green and smell bad, but the property owner allows us to change the water.
The owner was very friendly , but he has a helper who came to the house around 3-4 times and she lying about everything to the owner from us. She’s not a nice person she was with us very rude.
Except this “helper women” our stay was great

Cottage?
This is a home backing onto a swampy area. You could walk 4 min to the lake access which was a boat launch, not really a swim area.
Inside the home was well equipped with 6 bedrooms. The two double bed under the bunkbeds was unsleepable because the mattresses were extremely hard.
You could not see thru the dirty windows. The place needs a deep clean, that said the floors, beds, bedding, bathrooms and kitchen were very clean on arrival
Check in was easy with a lock box.
On arrival the pool was green and the spa cloudy. We tried to correct the problem and the owner came from Toronto to address the issue a day later.
The outdoor property was super. Lots of room for games. Areas of shade for lounging. Even an adapted silo for sitting in. Many plastic Adirondack chairs.
The pool table and foozeball were in a musty smelling garage. The kayak and canoe and safety equipment were used.
The 2 fireplaces (one small and one extra large) were perfect for late night stories and s’mores
On the day before arrival we were informed you needed to provide propane, drinking water, linens and firewood.
We spent most of our time outside and we did have an enjoyable time at this property
