"Had a great stay. Customer service was excellent, the breakfast was really good, and the hotel was very clean. The location was perfect, very close to the station and convenient for getting around. Overall, a really great experience."

"Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you."

"Friendly welcome. Characterful room with good quality tea tray. Great breakfast. Unfortunately the room was not overly clean and the bathroom in particular was tired, run down and felt grubby. Black and dirty sealant around the outside of shower. Broken tiles on floor, broken loo roll holder, grubby and badly marked walls and thick dust/grime on skirting. With a deep clean and a little maintenance this could be a great place to stay."
