"The property needs renovated. The bottoms of the windows were rotted. Air conditioning units in room did not work and had to move to another room. Room number sign on door was missing. Room was not clean and carpet needs replaced. The staff was pleasant and helpful."

"Room wasn’t clean even in the slightest. Nothing had been mopped or wiped down. The toilet and bathtub was still dirty and even had hair in it. The fire alarm was ripped off the wall at some point in time and the fridge was beyond disgusting. There was raw, rotting, chicken drums left in it for god knows how long and was leaking juices inside and outside of the fridge and stunk. It was so bad we had to leave the hotel and find a new place to stay at. Even the hallways smelt like dirty diapers....

The room smelled like mildew and air conditioner blew moist moldy smelling air. The blankets and beds were moist and floors due to this. "The hotel was not good it was dirty, so many ants and roach and the carpets were so disgusting, stain everywhere the ceiling paint was craked and they are about to fall off the celling. The T.V was so old wont turn on and the room smells from the sewers we had to leave the room the second night because we cant take the smell anymore and the manager wont refund us the money back but she said she will give us the rewards dont know what when we will get my rewards that she promised. "This is a very nice old historic inn. It has a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, and a bar inside, as well as a shady garden with places to sit outside as you enjoy a drink or food. Nice big porch out front with chairs on it too. Our room had another sitting room in it that was nice to have. Not sure if they all do. "Soap left in tub from previous tenant, top edge of shower stall was filthy, tenants smoking dope everywhere on property. People loitering in parking lot smoking dope. Room reaked of smoke, dope and cigarettes. Banging on floor from unit above us until 2 in the morning. Will never ever stay at this motel again."

"We stayed here last minute! I was happy with our choice. Staff was helpful and our room was clean .Very accommodating, safe, and spacious enough for 2 people staying overnight. It came with free breakfast. It did not have a big selection but it was fine. There are stores and fast food joints close by. They have a gym and pool but unfortunately the pool wasnt open. Overall our stay was good!"

"The property was lovely. Very quaint and unique. The winery was beautiful and the walk around the property is so relaxing. The Gabriel Archer Tavern was delicious. The short drive to market square, colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown made it so easy. The staff was very kind and friendly. We would definitely stay here again."

"We had a few issues in the beginning of our stay, but they did get resolved on our last night. Some issues were cable not working, internet not connecting to devices, there was a telephone, but no hooks up so the phone didnt even work. The room was cleaned in a rush, there was a pretzel under the mattress.. & there was not spare toilet paper roll."
