There were plenty excellent options nearby for breakfast which we took advantage of rather than the hotel dining room. We thought that the tourist tax (over €18 for 2 people x 2 nights total) should have been more clearly stated at time of booking. "

"A basic European hotel, small room, full bed, shower (no tub). A small elevator, but you need to walk up 3-4 steps to get to the elevator. Barcelona transit station a couple blocks away. Bed was firmer than I like. "
