"This was our second visit to the cottage, and it was ideal for our needs. We were two adults, two 7-year-olds, and one water crazy dog. For the kids, the big attractions were the swing, the sand, and the water, all the basics of cottage life without any glamour. The adults enjoyed the sunsets from the screened porch every night, and the ease of watching the kids outside from a lawn chair. Entry to the water is very gradual, and the girls enjoyed jumping off the paddle board a little ways out. We saw ducks, geese, a heron, gulls, and a solitary loon. Sylvia was very responsive to my questions. There were a few changes from our first visit that had me confused."

"Only daw back was the breakfast only started at 7am. We like to get on the road between 6am and 7am. We also had difficulty with the television in the room. No sound for some reason."

"This is a great property. It is advertised extremely accurately. If you are looking to see the Milky way this is your spot. If you want to escape from your phone, this is your spot. If you love nature, this is your spot. Keith and Laurie are awesome and we will be back."

"Great beach for little ones since it is very shallow for a long way out. Bringing the chairs down there was an excellent idea suggested by the hosts.Lots of dishes and cutlery and a nice large fridge and microwave. Great deck too with lots of room for all six of us. Parking was fine for three vehicles too.The only suggestions I would make is to replace the sliding door to the bedroom next to the kitchen since it is a little stiff and noisy in the night when getting up for a bathroom break, adding another mirror somewhere since there is only one small one in the bathroom, and putting a light over the kitchen sink.Thanks for a lovely stay Laurie and Kevin. It was nice to meet you and chat throughout the week and learn more about the area."
