"Room was possibly slightly too hot, couldn't work out control for the air conditioning, probably more my mistake due to being absolutely shattered. Staff were extremely polite and helpful, good selection of breakfast. Well located for an overnight stop if leaving England the evening before a long trip."

"This hotel is ideally situated a 4 minute walk from the town centre. Close enough to be very convenient but far enough to be very quiet. On site parking for convenience and a very warm welcome made for a good first impression. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all of the staff were most warm and welcoming. "

"A warm welcome , a good meal , a relaxing bath , a comfortable bed and a quiet location, what more can you ask for. have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and have always been made very welcome . It’s not the most chic hotel in the world, but definitely has the important features sorted. The restaurant menu is simple but good and reasonably priced. The breakfast is good value and varied. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly and a credit to the hotel. A special mention must be given to Gregory on reception in the evening, who went above and beyond . stay in many places in Europe and this is one of my absolute favourites, it’s not top end , but it’s not pretentious either, it’s friendly and comfortable and I an always able to relax when I stay here "
