"The check-in was by the key box and as we were away much of the time we didn't meet the hosts. Everything was lovely and the location very central in Cassel, which is a nice small town we'd stayed in many times before. The cottage decoration and furniture is very French in style. Overall excellent but there are a couple of things to be aware of: 1. The spiral-style wooden stairway to 1st and second floors may not be suitable for some people. 2. "Nice house with everything you need. We liked the different spaces at the different floors. Really nice and private outside area with sun during the whole day. Round bed was good as well (enough space for the both of us). Make a note that there is no wifi and sheets+towels are for rent or you can bring your own. Cassel is cozy with different restaurants and take aways (pizza take out around the corner is really good!) and a nice spot from where you can explore the area (Lille, Dunkirk)."

"Petite déception à l'arrivée; la piscine était toute verte , le problème a été réglé avec quelques difficultés en six jours ( nous avons eu droit à un petit dédommagement) Un effort serait à faire quant à la tenue du jardin : pelouse non tondue , jardinières de mauvaises herbes , pot de plantes séchées. Concernant le logement rien à dire , bien équipé , chambres spacieuses , déco à l'ancienne."
