"We have stayed at this house twice (once with the new owners) while visiting family in lower Michigan. It is a peaceful spot. We wish the dock had been out but overall it was a nice time. We would stay again."

What we saw of it, it was great. Found out they are closing maxfields restaurant it was our favorite place to eat. We still ate there but the salad bar potato bar and the ice cream machine were gone

Not the robust town it was when I was young. Not dead but not the thriving bustle of activity either. Main Street Pizza & Phenix Restaurant ovver good dining. Daniel's Restaurant is a pay-what-you-can restaurant that has VERY good food, although.
