"Stop the staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean and the hallway is in my room. The hotel is in dire need to be updated. The amenities in the room are par at best and probably one of the worst television remotes I’ve ever had any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Very un user-friendly. Not sure if I would go back and stay there again. I’m not sure how this hotel has such a high star ranking."

"Not a bad spot to stay, although we did not spend much time there. No real complaints (other than not being able to control the tempature in the house) about anything but also nothing really to gush about either. Cleanliness was pretty good - as in surface all good, inside drawers and under bed could use a little attention. The house is close walk to boat ramp but swimming beach requires a drive. Very close to a lot of lakes with public access for fishing, if that is your thing!"

"The place was nice. It was just me and I only really slept there while spending the weekend at Turk Lake, so I can't speak to making meals or anything. The bed and bathrooms were fine.It didn't really bother me, but I could see others being surprised that there were no curtains or blinds for the windows. The trees do the privacy work, but it could feel uncomfortable for someone staying there. It's visible in the pictures, but it's something someone may not think to look for Overall, it did a perfect job of being a place to stay for a few nights while I mostly hung out with friends on the lake."

"Beautiful property on Clifford lake and prefect for a family vacation or just a week away with friends and family. The lake was amazing and we caught all different kinds of fish right off the dock! We did have issues with the pool and did not use it for our vacation due to algae issues from the lake but, the host was very accommodating and let us use the boat instead which was very generous. The hot tub was a great amenity for when you want to relax at night. You do need to be very cautious when going in the pool or hot tub since the house is on the lake and you had to shower and wash your bathing suit each time you used it. My tip would be to bring extra suits and designate certain days for the pool or the lake! Overall we had a great vacation and would definitely recommend staying on Clifford lake!"

"We really enjoyed our stay! Hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Lots of amenities made us very comfortable and we really enjoyed the seclusion but also close enough to appreciate the small town of Lakeview as well."
