"The room was very spacious and clean. It seemed as it was recently refurbished. They were really accommodating and provided us with a packed breakfast as we had an early tour one day and couldn´t stay for breakfast. The buffet breakfast was good and freshly made. The guest house is very well communicated, it is about 30 min walk from the city centre but has restaurants 10 minutes away. Also the bus stop is right opposite the house. There was barely face to face service and the man I spoke to...

"Dålig information om hur man checkar in och om frukost, wifi. Smal dubbelsäng. Billigt, men hellre en hundring till för att det ska fungera. Wifi stod att det skulle stå på en lapp i vardagsrummet. Ingen lapp och vi tittade på många ställen. Ringde och fick då besked att det skulle stå på modemet under. Kollade och försökte logga in, men det fungerade inte. Så det gav vi upp. Gällande frukost stod det att det var full frukost som vi hittade till slut i kylen. En äggkartong en förpackning korv...

"Marriott always deliver. Conveniently located. The staff are very helpful, with transportation assistance, food, or room needs. Convenient washer with laundry soap, and ofcourse english hot breakfast included. The only thing that bothered me in the beginning was no AC across the hotel at that time, but it was fall (Edinburgh is quite cold). Room was clean, spacious and amenities (fridge, microwave, iron, etc- studio. Definitely we recommend, and can come back in the future and stay here."

"No fitted sheet. Towel has red stain. Couch cushion has a hole. Wet spot outside the bathroom. The kettle has leakage. Nice location for the palace, but you need to take taxi to go back to the train station as it is the lower area. Difficult to take buses. You have the climb up the hill for ten minutes to reach bus stop. Very unfriendly staff and difficult to reach. It does not let me to early check in even though I am willing to pay more. Very confusion check-in instruction. "

"We had difficulty for finding this apartment. we reached night 10PM and it took 2 hours to find this apartment. we were searching for the name Sakina apartment, we could not find this name. No land marks in the address. There was no previous instructions/guidance for how to check-in this apartment. No light was working in the Bed room."

"We couldn’t get in touch with the owner, and hand to contact Hotels.com to be able to get information about the check in. You’re really paying for the location with this place. It’s really close to everything including the old town, the castle and Princes street garden. But the kitchens smells bad, probably the fridge. The rooms smells like mold and I’m allergic… and there was some others hair all over the bathroom. I think what bothered us the most though was that there was absolutely NO HEAT....
