"Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. "

"The location of Orwell Cottage couldn’t be more perfect. There are many great restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and coffee shops right in the neighborhood. The Haymarket bus, train, tram hub is a five minute walk and getting to the city historic center is a doable walk. The Victorian elements of the cottage are unique and undeniable. When this unit was first rented it would be five star for any guest. This rental is showing quite a bit of wear which diminishes the experience. I will only...

"Spacious, clean, and perfect location to access the many sites of Edinburgh. My only suggestions would be to replace the tired sofas in the living room and add basic amenities like soap, shampoo, etc. for the bathrooms. Otherwise, we had a great stay!"

Unfortunately the water/pipes in the kitchen were loudly squeaking, disturbing the family throughout our 5-day stay.
