"We were a group of 15 that stayed for 2 nights celebrating a birthday, the house was well equipped, theres plenty of room so we weren't all living on top of ech other, great scenery really peaceful, and was so close to home just a half our drive but felt like we were miles away, would defo recommend this place"

"This is a well positioned house, just off the high street and right by the river and the new river walk. We couldn't fault it in any way. Spotlessly clean, comfy, small patio area to sit outside, friendly neighbours, easy access to the other border towns. Many thanks."

"We loved our stay at The Yair. We booked it for its proximity to the river Tweed for fly fishing and found that the river runs past the property; complete with fishing hut and a gillie! The property’s owner was great in his communication and was available for anything we needed. It was fascinating to learn from him about the history of the property. Our cottage was beautiful and the hot tub was a nice addition. We would stay here again, independent of fishing."

"This is a stunning location on the water with a beautiful garden. There are so many places to visit nearby. We had some unforeseen issues and Cathy our host took care of them as soon as possible. She was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place. "
