"Good location and friendly staff except for the men on reception. hotel needs lots of maintenance in rooms and spa area very tired. Food ok but cold if you didn’t go in at start of service and very limited choice."

"The hotel was very clean and it wasn’t too busy round the pool area. We didn’t have any problems getting a sun bed. Staff were all very friendly. We booked half board and the breakfast was pretty good. However the evening meals were not so great. We ended up eating out (there are some fantastic restaurants nearby). We wouldn’t go half board again, but it would be a good B+B option. The hotel is on the outskirts of Costa Teguise but it was only a short walk to the restaurants, shops and beach. "

"We are regulars there. and are back again in April. The hotel is huge, in a quiet, out of town location and can have 500-800 guests at a time. Lots of free parking. It is being refurbished from 6th floor down. Communal chairs and tables are mostly new. The Spa needs massive investment to re-open so don't rely on it being open soon. Food is OK and was slightly better than it was in November but they cant do miracles at the price points they offer. Fish dishes are good. They cater to guests from all over Europe so you may need to find the staff members that can fully understand quickly spoken accented English. (Or French or German or even Spanish as they use a lot of Dutch interns) . For us as we are not big drinkers, HB is better value than AI while the main Spa pools are closed."

"The apartment and complex were very clean. The pool area and outdoor seating area were just as shown in the photos. The apartment was well equipped and all the appliances worked. The complex is in a quiet area and there was plenty of street parking just outside. Eva was very helpful and responded quickly to my queries."

"The apartment was lovely. It was tastefully decorated and had a well appointed kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The dishwasher was an absolute bonus, because it meant I could spend more time in the sunshine instead of washing up.The owner very kindly sent us a spare set of bed linen, as we were there for 4 weeks and were worried about getting it dry. Unfortunately, the only downside was that I had specifically requested a ground floor apartment (having said that my husband had very poor mobility). When we arrived at Apartment farmiente 527, I was horrified to find that, although it was a ground floor apartment, it could only be accessed by descending 8 steps. However, although it was a struggle, my husband managed for four weeks. "
