"This place is a real gem. The bedrooms are large, quiet, full of all the amenities you need, inc dressing gowns and full of character. I believe that most of the rooms are themed based upon connections with the surrounding area . The evening food in the restaurant downstairs was excellent as well as the service from all the staff. "Breakfast wasn't great. Hot drinks took ages, cooked breakfast came to the table before the hot drinks arrived, and COLD PLATES ??? Why any establishment serves breakfast on a stone cold plate always astounds me. Serve it on a warm plate. Also when laying up tables for breakfast use a cloth and spray to remove last nights drink spills. "
