"Love this hotel. Makes you feel you have stepped back in time. Beautiful view of the South Downs from the bedroom window. Room very clean with plenty of hot drinks provided on the drinks tray. Staff friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast very tasty. There was also plenty to choose from from the cold table including juices, cereals, fruit, cold meat and rolls. When we stayed the weather was really sunny which made our room really hot. A fan was provided but the room was still really hot during the night as the windows could only be only opened slightly so that the birds did not come into the room. "
