"The lobby and room was clean and comfy. The hallway carpet could use some love. It was dirty, worn and stretched to the point of being a trip hazard."

"Great little hotel. Clean rooms with a very comfortable mattress and extra pillows. The staff/owners are friendly and accommodating."

"Very old building, ice machine in an insecure space."

"An incredibly tiny room. The bed was so high I had to get on tip toes to get in it, and I’m 6ft tall. Tv and internet were very poor."

"Great breakfast. Tasty and a good variety. The lady working to provide the breakfast was very friendly, efficient, and helpful."

"We had a pleasant and brief stay. The staff was friendly and attentive. The cabin was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious. However, the cabin is quite old, and the mattress needs to be replaced. It sank us so much that it was difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom could also use a place to hang clothes other than the towel rack. Overall, it was a decent experience."

"Mrs. Pam was a wonderful host and most helpful. Breakfast was tasty and we got to dine with the horses. We would love to return for horse riding in the near future. Highly recommend 10/10. Thank you for hosting us!"

"Staff insists the bed upstairs in the Dogwood suite is a queen but it is smaller than a standard queen for sure. Be aware!!"

The first night of our stay was horrible. There were several different guest that continued to rotate in and out of the room directly next to us and use the stairwell dozens and dozens of times all night long, I was up for most of the night concerned that something illegal was happening. I brought this to the...

"The lady at the front desk was kind. My bad review is due to the cleanliness of the property. The room wreaked of harsh cleaning chemicals which is not great to be breathing in. There was dust accumulated throughout the room and cob webs on the light in the bathroom. The best way to describe the place is musty. My boyfriend and I got sick from the rough conditions during our one night stay. We will not return."

"Dogwood Inn is truly a magical place. From the moment we arrived, Jim and Cindy made us feel genuinely welcome. Cindy’s breakfasts were absolutely outstanding—homemade, delicious, and one of the highlights of our stay. Jim was equally exceptional: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. You can tell they both genuinely enjoy taking care of their guests. The property is private, absolutely breathtaking, and feels like a dream—a true luxury retreat...
