We were initially worried about parking, but on the day that we stayed there were plenty of places to park at the hotel and the car booking in system straightforward.

The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable although there was occasional noise from the bar downstairs or outside tables. The Abbey is close by and the clock chimes might bother some. The food onsite is good whether you require breakfast or a meal. The room was well equipped and it suited me as a solo traveller very well. "
