"We loved staying in this beautiful house! The layout is perfect for entertaining. We had a great time eating, playing pool, playing cards, and just celebrating our son's graduation from JMU. We also had fun participating in the activities at the resort...go-karts, bumper cars, the zip-line, mini golf, fishing at the lakes, and the scenic chair lift! There was something for everyone!"

"Myla is very nice and she keeps a beautiful garden. My only complaints are I was only given one bath towel and there wasn’t any extra to be found in the unit. I didn’t want to go upstairs to ask as it was very late when I discovered it. Also, the temperature was a bit cold for me and I didn’t see a thermostat. However, I’d stay again and just make sure I requested another towel and come with warmer clothing. Her house is very close to my best friend’s, and I visit a couple times a year."

"We had a wonderful time with family and friends at this property. This home was spotless and was equipped with all necessities. The kids had plenty of activities to keep them occupied (arcade games, fuseball table, basketball, ect..). Everyone also enjoyed the hotub. We also spent some time at the waterpark which was a short distance from this property. Overall, a great weekend getaway and we highly recommend this property and apprectiate the opportunity to spend time in this home :)"

"Great location in Orange County Va farm land very close to many attractions and with in reach to Charlottesville for a day trip via country road route 20 ( no traffic lights). The cottage is an outbuilding on the Bloomingdale Farm property that is surround by working farms. The view from the porch is peaceful and relaxing with the Blue Ridge off in the distance. The cottage is rustic with old wide plank pine floors that creek with every step. The first floor sitting room has a large working wood...

"Great house and nice location. My kids loved the hammocks and kitchen had everything that was needed. Only negatives were the kitchen counters were dirty when we arrived. We were unable to use the firepit because there was no propane. The grill was so dirty we didn't want to use it. Also the keypad died the first day we arrived. My husband had to replace the batteries so we didn't get locked out. Other then that it was an awesome house and we would stay again!"

"My husband and I brought our newborn for his first trip away from home, and we picked the perfect home for it! It was very clean and quiet, and it was helpful to have access to a laundry machine. We were close by to Shenandoah and went on a few hikes and tried some great restaurants in the area. We look forward to coming back soon!"

Additionally, we were welcomed with fresh flowers, wine, and baked goods - such a thoughtful touch. The house also already had pretty much everything you need - towels (even makeup ones), coffee, tea, soap, etc. The location of the house is great - everywhere we wanted to go downtown (restaurants etc) were 5 minutes max driving. "A tropical Paradise in the middle of Charlottesville, close to everything yet very tranquil. Wonderful bedrooms and discrete work areas on the inside accentuate the unbelievable pool area and pavilion behind. Beautifully well done, and not adequately depicted in pictures. It’s a near perfect getaway venue. Amazing hosts were always available and nothing went undone or wanting. Very responsive and cordial."
