"There are no words to describe the view of Desoto Falls from all rooms of the house! It is just spectacular, and you can hear the Falls as well. The house is amazing and appointed with every luxury a guest could desire. The owner is an artist with exquisite taste, and it shows in every detail from the design of the house to its furnishings. This Vrbo is unique because the owner is closely involved in the property. He greets us upon arrival and makes us feel welcome. Over the years, he has become a friend who we look forward to seeing at each visit. He loves his property, and I feel grateful that he shares it with us. The view and the house are wonderful, but he makes it extra special! The location is perfect. It is close to DeSoto State Park and has access to trails just a short walk down the road. The town of Mentone is 10 minutes away and has some nice restaurants, farmers' markets, and community activities. Cliff House is the BEST vacation EVER! I will continue to come back as often as possible."

"My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the Rustic Mountain Lakefront Cottage.The location was perfect and we had an awesome view from inside of the cottage and the outside. Very clean and down home. Loved the decorations. The only thing I did not like was that we couldn't stay longer. The Bishop's were real nice and friendly. If i had a question or couldn't figure something out they were quick to respond and willing to help. I would definitely recommend staying here. We will be renting from the Bishop's in the future. "A pre-summer visit requested by my wife to celebrate post-Mother's Day and eldest daughter's birthday without fuss and bother. As usual we spent evenings at the firepit, walked the path to the river and morning walks down the road. In between my ladies worked a puzzle, read and thoroughly made use of the hot tub. Most pleasant way to spend a mid-week in May."
