This beautiful 3 story ski-in/ski-out residence in the heart of Purgatory Resort has much to offer. It is one of the largest and most spacious 4 bed / 4.5 bath luxury homes with private heated garage in Purgatory Resort that sleeps 14. Our home has every creature comfort you will need to call Purgatory a home-away-from-home during your vacation.

Step out the door and right around the corner of the building is the bunny slope that connects you to the main lifts and the resort. You are only steps away from everything Purgatory Resort has to offer year-round Paradise in the San Juan Mountains.

We have been going to Purgatory for many years, and stayed at many different places. This was the best, clean, fully stocked, great location for the kids lessons and for snowboarding. We would like to come back next year.

What a beautiful property in Purgatory! Location, location, location! The views are amazing. We were with family and friends and had plenty of room to spread out. This property has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Mimi was wonderful to work with before and during our trip. We highly recommend this property.

Our family of 13 gets together for Christmas every other year. Our parents in their 70’s, 3 siblings, all our children and one great grand child. This year we had the privilege of staying in Mimi’s Condo! WHAT A TREAT!! This condo was PERFECT for our whole family ranging from 75 years old to 5 months. She had everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable AND THEN SOME!! She has been the EASIEST, most kind and accommodating hostess we’ve dealt with in all our years of renting VRBOs. The condo is closely located to the “beach” or base of the slopes. We highly recommend Mimis Mountain luxury Condo! You will not be disappointed. We are hopeful to be able to rent here again! Best Christmas Condo we’ve ever stayed at!! Thank you Mimi! You are A WONDERFUL HOSTESS!!

We had the best experience at elk point 2! Very accommodating for kids and adults with nice bedrooms/bathrooms as well as a huge bunk room! We loved being steps from the slopes and enjoyed watching everyone ride the lift from the balcony! Mimi was so wonderful to work with and helped with any questions we had. We will definitely book this property again!

We had a quick trip up to Purgatory over Labor Day weekend. Mimi was amazing from the moment I booked our vacation. The property was perfect for our group. It is very clean and decorated with high end finishes. We came in very late and it was a special touch to have a few lights left on inside for us. I will definitely be saving this property for future visits to Purgatory.

We were very impressed with the condo! The owner was very helpful and responded quickly. There are several chefs in our group and they were impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked. There were even extra goodies that the kids really enjoyed (ramen cups, hot chocolate...) The beds were comfortable (even the roll away and futon). Nice linens and well stocked with dish towels. We would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed in several Elk Point townhomes and this was the best maintained and stocked of all of them. Everything worked (appliances, TVs, everything) and we had everything we needed. She even had a whole cabinet marked “enjoy” with oatmeal, popcorn, Oreos, and other fun stuff! So fun! Thank you so much!

This location was situated centrally to Durango and Silverton, both of which were destinations for us. The facility was well appointed. We lacked for nothing. There were extras there, like oil and spices for cooking and snacks. We really enjoyed our stay there. Our visit was in June and, in spite of the fans, it did get a little warm at night in the bedrooms. I suppose this facility is used more for skiing and winter activities. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

This was such a great home for our group! We traveled with 4 families and the layout of the home was perfect for that. Location was amazing and the kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub while the older teens enjoyed the fitness center. The home was wonderfully stocked, everything we needed was there and then some! The "to go" coffee cups were definitely appreciated by our group! The views from the home were stunning and we so thoroughly enjoyed staying there! Mimi was an amazing host, she really thought of everything and was great at communicating and gave us helpful information and useful tips about the area! The home was beautiful, rooms were lovely and set up well, the whole home was very clean and countless thoughtful details throughout. We had an amazing vacation and can't wait to come again!

Wow!! 2 Elk Point was a wonderful property! Fabulous location, easy to walk to the pool and gym and mountain fun. The owner, Mimi is very friendly and accommodating. The home is beautiful, has tons of beds and bathrooms, and comes with some basics already provided and a snack cabinet our kids loved! It is wonderfully appointed and decorated well. It was a little warm since the area was having a heat wave, but we opened windows and turned on fans, and it cooled down well at night. One of our kids forgot a lovey and sweatshirt and they are mailing it back for us. We for sure recommend this property and will for sure be back!

We had a fantastic time! We traveled with 2 families - 5 kids between the ages of 6 and 9 - and everyone had a blast. Mimi went above and beyond with all the essentials! The home was fully stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room and spacious enough for everyone to spread out and relax after long days of hiking and swimming at the lodge (which is only a couple minutes walk). The pictures are an exact representation of what you’ll see when you arrive. Aside from being a perfect rental all around, Mimi was an unbelievable host! She was very attentive, reached out during our stay to ensure we were having a great time and had everything we needed, and responded promptly whenever we had questions while planning our stay. We will definitely book with her again and cannot wait to get back to Durango.

My family stayed in this condo over Christmas and New Years and loved it! The views are stunning and the location was convenient to skiing and to the main lodge area. The condo was large and comfortable to spread out and surprisingly well-insulated so that we did not hear each other or neighbors. The host, Mimi, is excellent and communicates well. The beds were comfortable and the condo is very well stocked with kitchen equipment and basics like laundry detergent and TP and even hot cocoa. This was one of the best equipped kitchens I've ever seen in a rental and we did a lot of cooking since we got over four feet of snow while we were there. General note of caution - The one downside for us was that the whole area had no WiFi for part of our stay, which made working a challenge, but that affected the entire resort area, not just this condo, and Mimi worked to get it restored quickly. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends and family!
