"We loved the uniqueness of this property (we stayed in the Pharaoh room) -- it had so much character and truly felt like a resort nestled away off the beaten path. Even had hiking trails nearby. Furthermore, the staff made us feel welcome and right at home (very LGBTQ friendly!). One thing that's important to know: Make sure you write down the phone number that's listed on the property just outside of the entrance door. This is what you use to call the "front desk" for anything you might need...

"Absolutely Beautiful place. Great getaway, in our case we were looing for a place for a month in the summer. We have family that live nearby, we wanted our own private place and we hit the jackpot. "This was a perfect place for us while we visited our Navy son and his wife who also live in Spring Valley! The home is beautiful in a very nice neighborhood, it was clean and well cared for. The shower was super hot, which felt great before or after a busy day exploring the glory of San Diego. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and munchies, towels were plentiful, and no need to bring bath soap, or shampoo & conditioner because the bathroom was stocked as well. "We spent two weeks working at SDSU. Place was very convenient. A few things would improve the property. 1) Motion activated lights on stairs are not all working. 2) Putting a mirror in the bedroom so that occupant can use a mirror - not having to use the bathroom. 3) Better lighting for the couch and table in living room. 4) Pads for dining chairs - they are very uncomfortable. Mostly sat and ate on the couch. 5) better instructions for the lights and minisplits - the controls are not...
