A spacious and elegant home

This home was a great choice for our group of six, ages 23 to 85. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were fitted out with everything we needed. A truly special stay in a lovingly restored historic home.

Cozy and quiet

Wine by the outdoor fire pit for two of our nights was an added bonus! We loved having the full house to ourselves. Thanks for helping make our extended stay a very peaceful experience. We had a lovely time!

A nice place to be!

I absolutely loved the decor!!! And so did our kids, especially the bath tub. It was plenty big for our family, because we have a big family! It had everything we needed.

Unique get-away

I booked the whole house for a weekend trip for a family members wedding. Worked out well for all my family that stayed there. Its a unique stay in an interesting part of Dubuque if you enjoy older historical house definitely a place to stay.

This is a very well maintained old house (maybe 100+ years old). I loved the original things that were left in the house although much of it was very nicely updated. Everything was very clean and the bathrooms were all recently updated. Great neighborhood. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful weekend!

Stayed at this big, beautiful home for Loras graduation. SO much better than staying at a hotel. Tons of space, made meals, played games and had the best time. We love Dubuque and all the unique, historical homes and it was fun to stay in one! Wish we had done this the last several years and not waited until my daughter graduated! Highly recommend!!

Family gathering

A perfect location to celebrate a family event. Love the historic neighborhood, and the very old house that had updated bathrooms and kitchen, the important rooms for updating! The rest of the house was roomy and comfortable, and Jeremy was the perfect host with rapid responses to any inquiry that I had made of him. Perhaps we will return one day?

Nice home, could use a deep cleaning

This house was a great size for my friend group. We loved all the space. A few things that would be nice are a deep cleaning of the home. There was spider webs all over the place. The kitchen could be a bit larger/open. We like to have meals together so a larger dining room table would be grwat.bgreat.

Ski weekend in Dubuque

Great place for a mom and teen ski trip to Sundown Mountain over MLK weekend. So may special touches in this beautiful place made us feel right at home. The teens liked the games and movies. The moms appreciated a great night sleep on the comfy beds. Conveniently located between the ski area and downtown restaurants. Excellent property! Hosts responded timely to our questions.
