The host did not send check-in instructions until 640pm after VRBO staff and myself tried to contact her, as check in is at 5pm. After arriving at the property, we looked inside the window and it had not been cleaned at 6:15pm (beds unmade). We scrambled to find another place quickly due to it being late in the day.The host only did a partial refund and VRBO would not help. I had three “chats”, and two phone calls with customer service with no resolution. I had to call my bank for escalation of refund charges.
