"Our 3 night stay was pleasant and relaxing. The double rooms contain very comfortable beds, an excellent bathroom and proper light blocking curtains - ideal for sleep! The highlight for us was to enjoy the wellness centre consisting of sauna, steam bath and swimming pool. Perhaps, the only negative side of the stay, and certainly not ideal for sleeping concerned the noise of the doors which close rather loudly. One of the managers did tell me though, that they intend to put this right in the future. It seems incredible to me that people are unaware in hotels in the late hours about things like this without any consideration allowing doors to slam shut..."

"Very clean and in a great spot - staff were lovely and tasty breakfast - extra cost to use the spa so we didn’t bother but it did look very nice ."

"Great hotel for our stopover in Nottingham with our 2 tweens. Room was big enough and comfortable. Nice touches with complimentary snacks and water cans in the room. Could've been better with hand-wash and had 1 towel set missing in our room. Staff did replace these after we informed them. Great games room and swimming pool for us and kids. Lovely surrounding grounds. Staff are variable with their service, some really helpful and others not so much and didn't look like they enjoyed working there. Just our opinion. Overall would recommend and visit again."

"The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean with lovely clean fresh linen. The beds were very comfortable and it’s ideally located right across the road from The Peacock pub! Delicious breakfast included at the pub in the morning. As it’s an old cottage the staircase is very steep (just something to be aware of if you have elderly or very young staying). Would definitely recommend."
