"Chris' cabin is the PERFECT quiet, peaceful getaway. Soak in the wood burning hot tub under a sky full of stars (or even the northern lights if you're lucky). Have your morning coffee on the deck, which sits directly overtop a beautiful pond. Feed the friendliest two ducks you'll ever meet directly from the palm of your hand. Chris (the owner) lives just up the hill, and he's available anytime day or night if you have any questions. P.S. ask Chris about his Mango Mai-Tai white wine. You'll be glad you did."

"This property is an architectural gem. It has recently been sold and the new owners seem quite attentive and pleasant. It’s seen better days. The carpet is as old as God and the place really needs a good hallway clean. The rooms were clean. TVs didn’t have cable or Internet but not a big issue. Shower pressure was fantastic. They don’t make them like than anymore. Lots of soap, etc. we will go back as we go through drayton valley regularly. This hotel caters to crews. They have a lounge that has VLTs so we will definitely stay again. TLDR: for the price id do it again."
