"Had a lovely stay at Leworthy Farmhouse, Neil and Kirsty are wonderful hosts. Very family and couple friendly. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been all around the world. Quality produce and locally sourced, the portions were very generous and there was lots of choice. It’s in a peaceful location and once you drive out you have the choice to go into Devon or drive further into Cornwall.
Highly recommend this little gem of a place, it’s like home from home. "
"We were visiting family in Lifton ,Launceston and the surrounding area and had not visited this guest house before,but will certainly go back again.
The house is spotless and beautifully maintained and breakfast is straight forward and well presented a great way to start the day.

"The Inn was pleasant and the staff welcoming. The bedroom chair was so shoogly that I hesitated to sit on it. I told the staff who said it would be replaced. Very, very quiet on Sunday - nothing open."

"We had a wonderful stay following a super warm welcome. The staff members are amazing. The only feedback I would share would be to consider telling guests that there are steep steps and steep slopes to the accommodation and giving people the option to book lower floor properties. The swimming pool wasn’t very warm but was a nice extra. The property smelled really badly when we arrived so we had to buy air fresheners to extinguish the smells. The toilet roll and kitchen roll is very poor quality, so take your own. There was no restaurant onsite and the accommodation was very rural, it’s a real shame as this could have made such a difference. The bar area could have been made more cosy, they’ve tried to balance family games with a bar atmosphere and it didn’t feel quite right. The staff were so wonderful and welcoming and made such a difference. The little shop onsite was very welcome and appreciated. "
"Beautiful historic property with so much charm, combined with all the modern conveniences you’d ever need. Too much to list here, but a quick view of the highlights: loved hanging out in the garden, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the house is so quiet and perfect for relaxing and sleeping, the kitchen is so well stocked for cooking, and the history of the house is truly awe inspiring. Look for the “1792” carved into the fireplace mantel!"
"Very disappointing stay ,
We arrived after a 9 hour drive , when we arrived the cottage wasn’t cleaned and no bedding ,
We rang both Wayne and Karen , we decided to go buy some bedding , on route Karen did ring back to be fair and apologised saying she was told we was due on the 6th , (day of departure,)
Went to the pub for an hour and Karen had the cottage ready ,
I thanked her by tx but no communications back , nothing from Wayne all week ,
I would of expected a follow up chat asking if everything was ok now ,
The bed or bedding smelt fusty , when returning from a day out the building had like a damp fusty smell ,
Settee isn’t very comfortable, couldn’t get a signal on the TV , and WiFi very poor ,
Overall very disappointing, we was due to leave on the Friday but left on Wednesday night ,
Shame as the pool is loverly , and the surrounding area is very nice ,
It’s obvious that the cottage suffers from damp as it has moisture traps in the bedroom and bathroom ,
Won’t be booking again .
