"Great hotel, walkable to conference centre and downtown. Doorman opened the door for me every time which was a nice touch. No view but that's ok, I wasn't there to look out the window. The construction next door didn't bother me at all. Hotel was very clean. I would stay there again."

"This is my third day this year at this boutique hotel. It is gonna be my go to anytime I go to Newfoundland to see my daughter so convenient minutes walk to downtown restaurant shopping easy accessibility BUS, should you take 10 minutes of the water coffee shops. The facility is very clean very organized and quiet spacious rooms with a nice bar fridge kettle hot showers clean bathrooms last time I was there. I had a problem with the cable within minute. Somebody was there to help me with it and reboot the machine. You won’t be disappointed if you book us stay here. It’s a really good spot. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable and being so organized."

"The Duckwirth is one of my favorite places to stay when I visit St. John’s. It’s a very old property and that shows, but everything in the rooms are clean and well maintained. It’s attached to a restaurant and you can easily walk to most places downtown."
