"Hotel was a great fun place. Loved the rooms and general feel of the place. Parking was a nightmare at best. The vibe of the place was great, little "Stones" forward for me, but what do you expect with a name like "Jags", I do get it. But to completely ignore the Beatles and Zep?!? That just seemed wrong. Great sound track playing all the time, LOVED THAT!!!!"

"First time to St. John’s! Great solo trip, down town convenience , lots of restaurants, shops and attractions! Front desk were friendly, continental breakfast served in the morning. I found it a little strange there was no clock in the room (not that it matters as everyone has their phone now). Love the towel warmer! I’d stay here again. "

"This was a beautiful stay in a historic looking house. It was easy to find with free parking and delicious breakfast. Shower was nice with hot water after a long day of exploring NL. Bed was comfortable. I recommend it."

"Your kitchen is inconsistent. Some meals were excellent; but, I got food poising last night and your salt fish cakes earlier this week were the worst food I’ve ever tasted!!! "

"Overall a good hotel. Restaurant is nice with good tasting food. Pool and gym were generally nice and rarely available for hotels in this area. Room was pleasant although the toilet had poor flushing pressure. I would stay there again, although not ultra-modern. "

"Good room, quiet, great bed, friendly helpful staff, parking was a bit challenging - underground, one way, tight spaces. The room had a few maintenance issues but they were looked after promptly. We would stay there again. "
