"First Visit – A Beautiful and Thoughtful Experience | We stayed at La Fonda on the Plaza on July 1st for one night—our first time there—and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. The decor is stunning, full of rich Southwestern details that made the entire hotel feel warm and special. The staff was truly wonderful. We had a late check-in, and they actually called ahead to make sure we were still en route—such a thoughtful touch. Since most restaurants were closed by the time we arrived, they recommended a great nearby spot that saved our evening. This hotel combines charm, comfort, and care in the best way. We’d definitely recommend it and would love to return for a longer stay next time!"

"Loved the hotel and area. AC in room was LOUD. Asked them to fixed/take a look at it and if they did, could not tell the difference. Was not offered any other options. "

"Liked everything about the hotel room. The heated bathroom floor was an unexpected delight. Air conditioning vent above the bed equalized the temperature.All staff were great. Breakfast was below average-same, mundane food everyday! Dinner was barely average. Chardonnay wine was poor. Deserves repeating the room was perfect size and aesthetic's. Very comfortable bed. Nice patio and windows! I want to come back!"

"Pool opens at 7 am until 10 pm ! It is downtown you can walk to shop an eat or dine in. Excellent staff from valet to front desk and housekeeping! We will be back! "

"Management took it upon themselves to send us a "gift basket" for our 50th wedding anniversary. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast staff was quick to remember us (we ate breakfast there every morning). 90% of the places we wanted to eat were within .5 miles, so walking was always an option. The rooms were kept clean and tidy. My only complaint is that the shower stall lacks rails for holding onto, and the tile floor can become slick. Providing a shower mat or its equivalent would solve this issue (in the three "special" exterior rooms."
