"The cabin has the bare minimum in the way of furniture, decor, linens, etc. A little bit more effort in making it more inviting and cozy would go a long way. There are no curtains or blinds, barely enough linens for the futon (which is counted as a bed), no utensils, nothing on the walls, no bedroom or closet door. It could be a very cute place with a little effort. "

"Blue Heron was the perfect location for our family who were in Ruston for a LA Tech graduation. The house and grounds are even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The house was spacious and the kitchen extremely well stocked. An added bonus were the cookies, blue Heron ornament, and snacks that greeted us when we arrived. "Great property to stay on Candy Creek. Pros: Location, cleanliness of the property, starlink WiFi and host Con: Driveway was a little small and difficult to fit a bass boat but we made it work. Overall a great little weekend trip!"
