"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Figueroa in downtown Los Angeles. The hotel has such a unique atmosphere, and we loved that they preserved the beautiful decor and vibe reminiscent of the 1920s. The lobby and dining area were gorgeous, and the pool area looked absolutely beautiful as well. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to enjoy the pool during our stay because of time constraints.
There were a few things that could have been better. We booked a room with two queen beds, but the beds felt more like double/full-size beds rather than queens. The mattresses were also very soft, so they may not be ideal for guests who prefer a firmer mattress. Another issue was the bathroom door. It was a frosted glass door located between the two beds, so if someone used the bathroom during the night and turned on the light, the light illuminated almost the entire room.
Despite those issues, we really appreciated the character, history, and overall ambiance of the hotel. Hotel Figueroa is a beautiful property with a distinctive old-Los Angeles charm, and we enjoyed our stay overall"
