"Beautiful resort. Comfortable beds. The yoga classes in the morning were great. The instructors were great. It would be nice to have some bathrooms near the pools. A little variation on the breakfast buffet would be nice. Scrambled eggs every morning gets old."

"We enjoyed our stay! We had a couple issues with our AC and shower but they were quick to fix them. We loved walking the path to Whaler’s Village for shopping and eating. The resort was very quiet and safe. We loved the extra activities they offered. Would recommend this resort! "

"The resort was absolutely beautiful. It was kid friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurants and the markets gave us plenty of food options, and when we wanted some thing different, Whaler‘s Village is only a few yards down the beach. We loved the pools and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. You could have lunch by the pool or drinks. Hawaii is expensive but I felt like this resort was worth it."

"Well it was last minute! I had my grandkids and my 3 service little dogs! I never take them even to restaurants. I don’t abuse the service. My little dogs work w special needs kids,adults of all ages. They bring them Happiness and joy. Well the people at this hotel brought my grandchildren and I all that! Thank you! I live in Maui and so many changes in the last few months, I just needed to spoil them and give myself a break! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! It was perfect! "

"Loved the pool, bar, location was good, parking included was nice however not enough handicap parking spots on the first level! The bottom level of the garage is not handicap accessible to the hotel. My particular bed was horrible, but I didn't ask for a change so that's my fault. They would've done something to fix the problem if I would've asked. staff was extremely nice."

"What an amazing stay! From check-in to check-out, we enjoyed every minute. The property is stunning and the staff were all so welcoming and amazing! My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 minors) fell in love with the Hyatt Regency Maui. Mahalo! "

"We had a great stay. Our 2B/2B GV was a perfect fit for our family. Two teen girls need their space and we need ours, so this set up was ideal. The kitchen and washer and dryer were awesome as well. The property is located within walking distance of food trucks, grocery store, and shops. Both of the pools were very big and well maintained. The beach left a little to be desired as there are two properties flanking it which prevent you from strolling down the beach for a walk but otherwise it was okay. It’s an adequate beachfront but not really Kaanapali proper. Just fyi you’re going to pay a $25/day resort fee and $10/day to park your car so that stings a bit when you’re checking out. The hotel has an on site restaurant that was pretty good, and there is a mini mart on property for everything from alcohol and incidentals to pancake mix and sunscreen. You have to pay to use the gym through a third party and an app subscription, so I didn’t bother. You get trash service on the third day but you have to request room cleaning for a fee. We just cleaned up ourselves and requested towels when needed. We enjoyed the sitting area on the balcony and the view of the well maintained resort grounds. To sum it up we really enjoyed the stay. We were there for eight days and usually back in the room at 7:30/8 at night so having the extra room for our family at night was really nice. If you really want to experience Kaanapali beach you may want to look at the properties South of Black Rock."
