"My husband and I spent 10 days in Ecuador and fell in love with it! We ended up staying at this hotel 3 times in those 10 days, simply because we adored this place. "After traveling for 10 hours, we arrived by taxi to find that all the lettering had been removed from the front of the building and it was shut down. It turns out that after intensive inspections after the recent earthquake, the building was determined to be unsafe. "Hotel basically OK. Shower drain partially blocked so had to turn shower off periodically to avoid flooding bathroom floor. One small windown looking out onto a wall 3 feet away in my room. Just did not like the surrounding area much. Did not seem to be any restaurants/bars just fast food vendors."

"The room was spacious and comfortable. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because it had a pool and a gym. The "pool" was about 8 feet by 12 feet and 1 foot deep there was no way you could swim in it it was not a hot tub. It was dirty and the centre drain had so much suction on it it was painful when I trod on it. It would be dangerous for a child to play in. The surrounding floor was dirty. The gym had a foul smell in the equipment was old with frayed cables and dirty I was completely...
