"Beautiful hotel! Restaurant was wonderful as well. Room very large and clean."

"The property is in a good location, just a block or two from the bottom of the incline. We had a wonderful stay. Robert, the owner, made us feel especially welcome, and his breakfast was delicious. If you’re looking for a memorable experience with more personality than a standard hotel, this is it. A glass of wine on arrival would have been a lovely finishing touch!"

"Shower water stayed in tub for a while before it drained Keurig coffeemaker did not work unless you held the pod top down. Property looked run down with the curtains hanging off the hooks by the elevators. I guess I just expected better"

"Overall, we had a great stay. Beautiful home with wonderful views. The breakfast was okay."

"Did not realize there are 2 Holiday Inns in Dubuque when I booked. Thought I booked the same one we have stayed at before that has a shuttle service but I did not. The motel is good just prefer the shuttle service"

"Room was large and very clean. Water pressure was bad! No drawers for your clothes if you wish to unpack and only 3 hangers! Don't waste your money on a room with a partial river view, partial is a stretch. Work space/desk is directly under the TV, not conducive to getting much done if you have to work while staying."

"Great stay. Nice pool, nice rooms, great staff!"

"The curtains in my room were shredded, the towels were still damp - and they were all stained with what looks like Cheeto finger prints, leading me to believe they hadn’t been changed from the last guest. The pool was closed; the lights were off in the lobby when I arrived and still off in the morning when I left. 40 minutes before check out the cleaning staff was knocking on the door and insisting I leave immediately. 2/10, couldn’t sleep, wasn’t clean, poor customer service, and a very off...

"The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The breakfast is your typical except for the delicious scones. Tea is served daily between 3-5 which I thought was a nice touch. My only complaint on the room was only that the staff could clean the bathroom vent which was very dusty. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. And the shuttle was a nice touch."

"Great historic B&B. Highly recommended!"

"Location was the only positive thing everything else sucked"
