"Joe the Manager provided great service to us. Rugs could have used a shampooing. Kitchen walls could have used repainting as there were splatter stains from prior use. Communal kitchen for free breakfast was on your own to cook or make. Bread for toast; butter; jam; milk; cereal; apple juice; orange juice; bacon and eggs. Kitchen dishes and cookware provided. Communal sitting area for eating or resting to watch TV; listen to music or read. Change of towels on request and no maid...

"The GWHH was a convenient an economical stay. The owners are working on improvements, which are needed. The rooms are basic but servicable. Convenient shuttle to and from LGW. Super friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk to town, restaurants, grocery and train station. We daytripped to London snd Brighton, seeing many popular sights and escaping the throngs at night. Loved Lunch at ShiRaZ. Quiz night at The Tavern. "

"Advertised as disabled accessible...external stairlift out of action, walker had to be left outside of room as bed limited access to the room and had to enter in sideways, lino was coming up, no bin in bathroom, unable to use bathroom efficiently as was too small, informed reception tv not working properly not sorted, bathroom light bulb reported due to being blown not replaced, awaiting to hear back from management as they are not on duty today (Tues 5th Sept). Took me asking three times asking...

"A great value place to stay near Gatwick, with parking option a short taxi ride to the terminals. Quiet, comfortable and friendly team. They kindly accommodated me when my return flight was delayed. I look forward to staying again ! "

"Wow what a little gem of a hotel with restaurant. Room was amazing, modern, classic and Mediterranean feel in heart of a Kent village. If you get room 8 or 9 you won’t be disappointed. Restaurant food was top notch if a little pricy and the included breakfast was also lovely in quality and flavour. Would pick over a chain hotel any day especially as location has few choices for accommodation."

"3 of us stayed in the 3 single bed family room on a room only basis the room was extremely clean with en suite shower room. The beds were very comfortable tea and coffee was supplied and when we needed more milk they bought us more. The room also had doors out to a little patio area overlooking a pool with fish and a lawn beyond."

"Simply perfect, as usual. No problems in any area. This is my go-to venue for what are usually short stay visits to the area & I have no intention of staying elsewhere unless by any chance no rooms are available - & so far his has never happened!"

"Booked last minute service was good and prompt as arrived late. The was small but livable. The room smelt of sewage. In the bathroom they had painted over the mould. It was unclean with evidence of cockroaches. The room was facing London Rd in Norbury not Streatham as it says on the advert and was very noisy. The blinds filtered no light. The fan was old and essentially useless. I left to go stay in my car "

"We really loved the apartment. It was big, clean and beautiful. It had everything we would need and more. The only thing I would like it to have is a window or better air vent in the bathroom. The breakfast was great and we really enjoyed our staying. "
