"On the morning of our check out there was a power cut and the shower flooded overnight leaving the bathroom smelling like sewage. This meant that we had no internet to find our way to durdle door, could not use the shower, didn’t get breakfast, and our electronic devices could not be charged. Whilst we appreciate power cuts are not in the control of the hotel, the staff’s reaction to the power cut and to the flooded shower tray was unhelpful. They simply stated these things happen and said another room’s bathroom was flooded. No discount was offered for the inconvenience or lost amenities or apology was given."
