"We had a fantastic time at the Hilton Wangfujing! It was my wife’s and my 20th anniversary. We mentioned it to them and one night they sent us up a cake and decorated the bed with two swans made out of towels and sprinkled rose petals on it. A very nice touch. "If this is in your budget, I highly recommend staying here. It’s an apartment suite two or three times the size of a regular hotel. I initially book a hotel nearby but for $70 less, the service and quality was night and day. I never cancel bookings on the day of but I had to swap to this one because I couldn’t believe the deal. Walking distance from the forbidden city and tiananmen. And it is central to all the local shopping districts. It is in the wangfujing shopping district so it’s super accessible "
