"We stayed in this hidden gem for 2 nights with another couple. We rented a Superior Villa with a kitchenette and 2 bedrooms but upon arriving we were surprised to see that it was a lot smaller than the photos led us to believe. It would be better for a family then 2 couples as the bedroom with the double bed only had a privacy curtain. Both rooms were open above the door so that the AC which is only in the single beds room, could cool the entire villa. We did not eat there, which is good because...

He is responsive and helps you book and facilitate everything. The place is clean centeral and has the great vibe of staying with family. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The coffee is divine. "Exactly as advertised. We stayed in an AC room with 2 double beds and a large sliding glass door that opened to a little balcony. Lots of singing birds. Great value. The breakfast, served next door to the hotel for $8 per person, was truly excellent. "

"Tangara Azul is a little gem, lovely accommodation with lots of living space and a kitchen, nice pool and grounds, easy 15 min drive to Uvita, much better value than staying there. Also has the citrus restaurant and a deli on site."

"This was a very unique property for us. It's part hostel part hotel. Our room was small but was fine. The staff was super nice and gave a tour of the property. We enjoyed the bar and the pool and we were within walking distance of a fabulous dining spot. "
