Tucked away in the village of Doi Saket (on the outskirts of Chiang Mai) is a quaint cafe where you can order a fresh fruit smoothie, indulge in a decent brownie or purchase handmade goods.
Sitting at Yellow House, I saw a family of ducks stroll by. Down the road I spotted this beautiful dragonfly. Doi Saket is off the beaten path, but Yellow House is worth the visit.

"Not what i was expecting for $273 USD. The furniture and accessories were cheap or old (apart from a brand new refrigerator). There was construction right next to our room and our view consisted of a few trees, a tired, old, swimming pool some distant mountains and a giant construction site. The room is not regularly used as evidenced by the dusty cabinets, few amenities and a broken jacuzzi tub. The hotel is understaffed and distant. "The perfect place to base yourself. Quiet location, wonderful staff and the suite was spacious, clean and quiet. Free transport to the old City takes about 10 to 15 minutes. 10 minutes to the airport. "
