"Overall an excellent place stay! House was very roomy and a 2 minute walk to the gorgeous beach. Lots of distinct spaces for multiple families. Deck was perfect for grilling and hanging out. Outdoor shower was super convenient, and garage had beach chairs, wagon, sand toys, bikes. A few maintenance issues that could use a look - oven door doesn't close so couldn't really be used and many of the lights flickered. Could definitely use a deep clean. Socks came up black after walking around, couch was covered in dog hair, and ceiling fans were filthy. In addition to bed/bath linens, be sure to bring your own toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, dish towels, paper towels. This property is managed through a seperate company, so you end up needing a non-vrbo app to get your information. Never figured out how to reach out to management."

"We had such a great stay this weekend. This was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed—everything felt fresh, spotless, and really well taken care of.Richard, the host, was awesome—super friendly and easy to communicate with, but also gave you plenty of space. He met us upon arrival and made sure we were settled in. The place itself was quiet, spacious, with a private balcony overlooking a gorgeous fountain, and just beautifully put together. You can tell a lot of thought went into the inn. The gardens, the artwork, the furnishings, everything was high quality and tasteful. Plus, it had everything we needed, which made the whole stay easy and relaxing.The location is also perfect. It’s a short drive to the beach, and you can either enjoy the town of Milton or use it as a home base to explore nearby spots like Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes, and Rehobeth. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Really lovely home, one of the best rental home kitchens with everything you'd need. Upstairs/downstairs paired parents and kids rooms provides an excellent layout for two families, especially young children who need to be on the same floor as parents. Really easy walk to the beach - quiet, beautiful setting. Would recommend!"

"Excellent place to stay for a DE vacation! The home is very clean and well decorated. Master suite with large shower is a plus. Open floor plan makes it a great space for family when spending time in the house. The house is close enough to spend the day at Lewes/CapeHenlopen/Rehobeth beaches, but a little removed from all the traffic of the tourist area, making it a great place to unwind and relax in the evenings. The outdoor hammock, gazebo, and fire pit were a huge plus, and the kids loved making s’mores in the evenings (the house has firewood, kindling, roasting sticks). The host was very responsive - clearly communicated check in instructions. Check-in and check-out process was easy to follow. Host was quick to respond to any inquiries we had. On arrival there was a nice thank you card and jar of honey from local bees, such a thoughtful thing to do!The owners clearly take pride in this property and have created a great rental for people to stay. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to enjoy some time away in a relaxing setting close to the DE beaches!"
Cozy home minutes from Lewes and Rehoboth Beach

"Had a wonderful stay in Milton which is a short drive from Lewes, Rehoboth beach and Cape Henlopen park. The first words our child said when entering the house were "do not judge the book by its cover". It's much more spacious inside than it looks when you first pull up to the house - very clean, conveniently laid out, nicely decorated and with room to spread out and feel like you are in the privacy of your home rather than cramped in a small hotel room and surrounded by all sorts of noises. Will stay again when travelling to the area."

"The place was clean and very nice. I would recommend bringing wash clothes (2 at house), additional kitchen trash bags and toilet paper. These items were very limited.However, I would not hesitate to rebook and will be in the future. I may consider renting a beach buggy for future stays."
