"Fantastic hotel. Had a small problem when I got electricuted switching my phone charger on. Spoke to the guy on reception who was absolutely amazing. Only reported it so it could be checked for the next people coming in. But our guy on reception went above and beyond to make sure we was ok. Bar staff also fantastic polite and just lovely people. Definitely be back to this hotel great service from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out "

"The room was amazing had two sofa, the bed was kingsize amd very spacious coming in. Loved the church themed stained windows going up the and down the stairs near the receptionist desk. Staff was very friendly and always asked me if everything was ok."

"This was the first time that we had stayed at the Holiday Inn in Barnsley. Although we used to live in the town so we had visited the hotel many times for functions and meals . The hotel was clean but in need of a refurbish. However the staff more than made up for any downsides, they delivered exemplary service. "
