"Unfortunately our stay had to be cut short by 2 days as my back could not tolerate the only bed in the property which is lumpy and hard. Think of a bag of potatoes and you wouldn’t be far off. I’ll end on a positive, the rear garden is beautiful!"

Restaurant has excellent dishes at good prices and the bar serves a good range of drinks again at good prices. A Continental Breakfast is included and there is no cooked breakfast option. "This hotel provided a reasonably sized and comfortable room. The bathroom, although a bit small, was well-organized, making it convenient for guests. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options. However, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that persisted throughout our entire stay of six days. I suspect it was coming from the shower curtain fabric or the sewer line. Additionally, the bathtowels were not made of cotton."

It is situated a couple of miles outside Hereford, in a quiet countryside setting, so is nice to unwind at. "The photos of this property are completely misleading, as in reality it is very very different! The room was small, nowhere to put anything, the en-suite was tatty with broken shelf over sink, dirty mirror and a shower that was pretty poor! The room was cold & uninviting! Other parts of the property were full of clutter & just looked uncared for and needs a complete overhaul. I can’t believe we paid good money to stay here!! "

"This is a wonderful, historic hotel on the river in Worcester, a 5 pound taxi ride from the Worcester New Shrub train station, and within walking distance to the city's cathedral and central shopping, dining area. The breakfasts couldn't be better, and the restaurant is top notch. My room had a separate living room facing the river with operable French doors and windows."
