"We were greeted by the owner…she very graciously showed us around the hotel and gave us a room with a view of the New River. She was very welcoming. The 1902 building has been beautifully restored. The room was great…as a side note, she told us that they would be opening a steakhouse in town in a couple of weeks. The space worked very well for us as a couple. Note that they have rooms and dining options available for scheduling an event for friends and family."

"If you're looking to stay in the Mt. Airy/ Mayberry area, it doesn't get any better than this. Charming house, with no detail left unattended and all amenities you would need. Quiet, safe location. "Great location. Very walkable to all the fun things Elkin has to offer, including a local brewery/pizza place and a fantastic cocktail bar. Hiking trails for all levels within walking distance from room. Nice studio room, very clean, but a little small for two adults. Needs comfortable seating, task lighting and bedside tables of some sort. 3.5 out of 5"

"This cabin was truly amazing. It was super clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the shops around town and close by. We loved the thought that was put into making this stay extremely comfortable. The extras provided by the host were a nice touch that you do not see often! Thank you and we'll be back!"
