"The hotel was great by most accounts. However, apparently there was a leak when I bathed and it leaked downstairs. Our complaint was maintenance making repairs at 8am without any notice. We were literally in the bed when the whole floor started shaking and the loudness of the tools to go through the ceiling. I'm glad they were making repairs but having us move rooms BEFORE waking us up so abruptly would have been better."

"The staff were all courteous and professional. The room was clean, housekeeping staff were friendly. The breakfast was amazing with so many choices of food. Lori was a prize of an employee running the breakfast room! Can’t think of any negatives at all."

"We were a little skeptical at first but. WOW! Exceeded all our expectations many times over! 5-Stars is inadequate.It was clean, bright, modern, well equipped, well maintained and well prepared!We'll return again when we can.The owner is a good person and we're glad to have made his acquaintance even if only virtually.This is a delightfully quiet, secluded, sunny spot to stop, rest and recharge.Go for it! You won't be disappointed."

"It was just what I needed—passing through the area and having a place to sleep without the expensive hotel price. The beds were comfy and cleant. The room was clean but had a strong musk odor, which made my travel bag smell for a couple of days. There is AC and a mini fridge in the room, soap and shampoo, but that's it for the amenities. For tea and coffee, you need to go to the lobby to grab some. The walls are not soundproof so if you have guests next door, you can hear everything!"

"This was a cute and quirky cottage on lake Monomoc. It was clean and had everything we needed. Our favorite place was the front porch overlooking the water. The owner was very easy to work with and I highly recommend this place for a quiet and peaceful time away from it all."
