"This was originally a well built fishing lodge: it's not a luxury all inclusive. It's being updated but the character will stay. Breakfast is a la carte and we didn't patronize it. Once it's finished, we would come back if prices weren't higher."

"The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and breakfast was good enough. The people were very friendly. It was a great deal for a long weekend. I'd stay here again."

"Exceeded expectations. Clean, comfy, quiet, kitchenette well equipped, warm, dog friendly. Loved the decor with touches of driftwood and succulents, sweet private greenhouse, old fashioned teapot, and washer/dryer all in one. Close to parks, shops, and Elk Falls. Easy drive into mountains on HWY 28, an hour at most to reach Strathcona Park."

"Our room was clean, modern and had a great view of the ferry harbour. Staff were friendly, helpful and available. We'll return here next visit to Quadra Island."
